Refilling Refillable Inkjet Cartridges CX5000 T069 Series

The Color tab is the air hole this must be off when cartridge is in use! Do not throw the air plugs away. You will need to keep the air hole plugs for filling cartridges so put them away where you can find them.

The opaque (milky white round plugs) is the refill hole.

There are 2 methods of refilling these cartridges.

Method 1 The Vacuum method.

Step 1. Plug the air hole
Step 2. Draw about 10-12 ml of ink in the syringe (you do not use the needle for this method)

Step 3. Firmly insert the needleless syringe in the cartridge press firmly because you want it air tight.

Step 4. Pull the plunger on the syringe UP to create a vacuum.

Step 5. Release the plunger and ink will go into the cartridge. Repeat until all ink is out of the syringe or cartridge is full.

This method will get more ink into the cartridge.

Method 2 is just slowly injecting ink into the refill hole however if you have run the cartridge close to empty you will need to use the vacuum method. This method works

but only if there is ink in level of the cartridge and it does not get as much ink into the cartridge.
